Subject: White FW Belts
My local Singer guru has a source for white FW belts. These are like the
red neoprene ones with the teeth & are semitransparent ,but they are white. Not
quite as nice as the original type but better than a black one on a white
machine.I put one on DW,s white
FW & it looks nice. Anyone interested, email me & I will put you in touch
with him. He said he will order some if there is enough demand. No
affiliation etc.

Subject: Singer sewing machine for sale- 2nd E-mail address
I own a "portable" Singer sewing machine, serial # AG404808, which I am
told was manufactured 4/1/1942.
On the underside of the machine is SIMANCO USA 33681.
It is in perfect condition. It is not a featherlite.
It goes forward and backward and sews over pins. It has a curved wooden cover.
It works perfectly.
This is a second letter about the same machine. I can also be reached
at j25kramer@cs.com
Please contact me if you are interested.
Thanks, Joan

Subject: items for sale
I have a few items for sale I've been spring cleaning!:
A box of Singer sewing machine attachements the number on the box is
160809 and these are short shank attachements so they will fit your
featherweight! There is a binder # 160359, a ruffler, a hemmer? #35931
and small hemstitcher #120842, a 121441 and a 36865. There are also two
black felt cushions and a couple of Singer size 14 needles and some
tissue paper. Price is: $15.00 plus $1.00 shipping.
I have a Singer 99-31 manual. Copyright date on the inside cover is
1955. The pages are a bit yellowed but seem to be intact. The binding
part has 3/4 inch tear near where it is stapled. There are no missing
pages. Price: $13.00 including shipping
I have an original instruction book for a Singer 301 sewing machine.
When you open the cover there is a picture of a black 301. The
copyright date is 1956. The front cover has two small tears and two of
the corners have been bent. All of the pages are there and the manual
is intact. Price $14.00 including shipping.
I think I have an original manual for a white featherweight, I just have
to find it. I would like to sell it though because it's a spare.
Price: $20.00 including shipping. ( I will look for it)
I have a nice white featherweight for sale the copyright date in the
manual is 1964. The machine is a condition 7. It has the box of
attachements and the original manual in good condition. It has a white
belt, (you might need to buy a new belt, this one looks old.) The
machine sews fine. The case is in good sturdy condition. There is no
rust but a few places on the bed of the machine have some bubbling paint
these areas are small. The largest is probably dime size. It doesn't
take away from the cuteness of the machine. My price reflects the fact
that it hasn't been checked by a sewing machine person and the paint
problem. Price $380 plus $15 shipping.
I have a rough black Singer featherweight has various attachements, no
box has small Singer screwdriver and a couple tubes of old Singer
lubricant and various other "junk". The machine sews very slowly
though. Has not been checked by a mechanic, may need a new belt or ???
The machine is missing lots of paint under the arm and the whole machine
probably needs a paint job or an overhall of some sort. Comes with the
case and I think a manual too (I'll check!) Could be a good fixer upper
for that special sewer or collector out there! Price: $235 plus $15
shipping.
I have a Spartan head for sale. It sews. $25 plus $15.(approx
shipping)
I have a Frister and Rossman for sale. Has no decals, don't think it
ever did. Has a Singer motor with it but it has a spoked wheel so a
handcrank mechanism could be attached to it. It used to sew but haven't
tried it in a long time. Might be a good parts machine? Price $20 plus
$15 approx. shipping.
I have a Willcox and Gibbs sewing machine for sale. Decals are faded
but the machine sews when you turn the wheel. No motor or handcrank,
just the head. There is scattered rust on the chrome parts. Might be a
good fixer upper. Price: $60 plus $10 shipping
I would like to sell my Centennial Singer 201 in desk style cabinet with
stool. The drawers are jammed full of stuff. Has manual and box of
attachements and other goodies. Local pick up please. I live in
Durham, North Carolina. I will be happy to meet you some where! I know
there are lots of you feathers here in NC, come over and buy my stuff.
I'm downsizing my collection!
Please email me for more information. If you receive any machine or any
item that you purchase from me and you are not satisfied you may return
it to me for a full refund minus shipping within 30 days of receipt.
Thank you very much!

Subject: Singer 15-91 attachments and manual
Hello, I have some attachments and manual for an old Singer sewing machine,
model 15-91 from 1948 or earlier (I think) and was wondering if anyone might
be searching for these parts. There is a blind stitch attachment #160616
with manual, complete buttonholer #160506 with a manual and extra templates
#160668, a black plastic light cover, and a manual of general instructions
for the machine. I do not have the machine, however. A local collector
said they are worth between $15 to 25 for all, as they are in great condition
(plus shipping). Please email me if you are interested in purchasing or if
you know of anyone else I could contact who might be?
Thanks in advance,
Beth Matsuyama
