Just going through my reserved mail; I have a 66 from my friend's
grandma and will get to know it this year. If you still have the
stripper foot, I'll gladly look after it and figure it out as well. Live
just north of you in Calgary, Alberta!...Colleen Peake

Hi Fanatics, I would love to become a fanatic too so if anyone out there can
streer me in the direction of a Featherweight (preferably black) I would be
ever grateful.

To Heather re bright blue sparks
If that's the sort of service the machine had I'd be checking the leads to
the lamp as well -- plus everything else....
I'd also be letting the seller know what I thought of the pre-delivery
servicing and wanting a hefty discount for risking electrocuting me.
To Alice
On no account apply any lube of any sort to the belt on a white
Featherweight - recipe for disaster as oil or grease can rot the belt.
The belts on these machines can go on forwever --- given zero maintainance.

Help! Can anybody help me? My new featherweight arrived
in the mail today. I opened the box excitedly. I took out the
case and to my dismay one of the buttons would not open!
I have tried WD-40 and I have tried other small keys that
seem to be the same size. My new featherweight just does
not seem to want to come out. Does anybody have a tip for
me? The case was not locked when it was shipped (in fact
the previous owner did not have a key.) Now, it simply
will not open so I am desperately awaiting a solution.
If you can help me I would so appreciate it!
Thanks
